Community Midwifes
The Community Midwife Team provide care for mothers before and after delivery and care for the baby during the first fortnight of life.
Our midwives are attached to the practice to provide antenatal and postnatal care in liaison with the doctors.
We have an antenatal clinic held at the surgery on Fridays 9am to 11.30am. The midwives can be contacted on 01543 576810 during 8.30am to 9.30am weekdays.
Community Psychiatric Nurses and Chase Emotional Wellbeing Service
Community Psychiatric Nurses and Chase Emotional Wellbeing Service provide a counselling service for our patients. Patients will need to be referred for this by their Doctor.
District Nursing
The District Nursing Team are available to see you in your home and help with dressings and removal of sutures, advice and care of the acutely and chronically sick and terminally ill and advice on incontinence and supplying pads and other aids.
They are based at Cannock Council Building, Cannock and can be contacted on 01543 334600.
Health Visitors
The Health Visitors are available to help with health matters relating to the under 5 year olds and their families. For example feeding difficulties and sleep problems. They run the Child Surveillance Clinic.
They are based at various locations. Please contact us on 01543 571650 and we will direct you to the appropriate team depending on which area you live.
Physiotherapy, Chiropody and Occupational Therapy
Community physiotherapy, chiropody and occupational therapy can be arranged locally by the practice.
