Unfortunately we are having to suspend our online appointment booking system until further notice due to the ongoing coronavirus. Please call reception to book an appropriate appointment.
Remember if you can’t make it – PLEASE cancel your appointment.
Chadsmoor Medical Practice is one of a number of local GP practices participating in the Cannock Practices Network Surgery which is based in the GP Suite on Level 2 of Cannock Hospital. The Surgery is open from 3.30pm - 8.00pm weekdays and 9.00am - 1.00pm Saturday and Sunday mornings.
It is staffed by GPs, Nurses and Reception staff who also work in one of the practices.
Monday - Friday When our weekday appointments are fully booked, an appointment at the Network can be offered by our Reception staff after 1.00pm each day.
Saturday & Sunday Pre-bookable appointments are also available in the Cannock Practices Network Surgery at the weekend. These can be booked by our Reception staff at any time on Monday to Friday or telephone 111 (out of hours) on Saturdays and Sunday mornings.
Our telephone lines are open from 8am.
When you telephone for an appointment, we now routinely ask the nature of the problem so we may signpost you to the most appropriate clinician. There may be circumstances when this is difficult, but it does help us to help you!
Please book one appointment for each patient who wishes to be seen.
Emergencies take priority at all times.
A variety of appointments times are available throughout the week during the surgery opening hours. The appointment times vary from day to day. Please contact the surgery for further details.
If there are no face to face contact or telephone appointments left the receptionist will ask you some questions and the 'Doctor on Call' will telephone you and either give you advice over the phone or ask you to come to the surgery at an appropriate time.
Telephone appointments are only available during surgery hours.
Advice is also available from the NHS 111 service by calling 111 from your landline or mobile phone.
If you anticipate that you may require an examination by the Doctor and feel that you would like a chaperone to be present, please make reception aware at the time of booking your appointment so that this can be arranged. Alternatively bring along a member of your family or friend to your appointment.
If you are unable to attend for your appointment please tell us in good time so that we are able to offer another patient the use of that appointment.
